We’re Myu (they/them) & Seb (he/him). We’ve worked in the industry for many years (Myu as a game designer, and Seb as a sound tech in voice dubbing). We’ve talked about it on and off for years and it’s time to strike out on our own and see what happens.
As “smol dreamers” our goal is to make small bite sized games, short experiences in various genres or formats, and document our journey openly and honestly while we’re making them.
Our goal is to make games sustainably and efficiently, using as much open source software as possible. Without crunching or working crazy hours. It’s about finding a rhythm that works for us.
We’re just starting, the games won’t be perfect, but that’s OK. The goal is to learn, have fun, make some neat experiences for people playing them and show how we do it.
Maybe later on we’ll make a bigger game, but for now we want to focus on short games developed in a short time, to experiment with the tools and techniques to create interesting experiments.
